Roadside: a Two Policemen Pounced on Flacquois
A tragedy was narrowly averted yesterday, Monday, January 30, the Avenue des Capucines, Quatre-Bornes. Two policemen who were conducting a traffic stop, ordered a driver to stop.
This resident of Centre de Flacq, who was driving a van, drove his vehicle on the two policemen before fleeing. They were able to avoid the worst. However, they were injured feet.
The inhabitant of Centre de Flacq, aged 46, was subsequently arrested at his home. During his interrogation, he suggested that in a moment of panic he had committed this act.
