Singer Vehicle Design Shows Off New Options For Latest Reimagined 911
Singer, those folks that build awesome sports cars that take the shape of old Porsche 911s, has unveiled a slew of new options for its rear-engined classics at Gordon McCall's Motorworks Revival, an annual event held ahead of this weekend's Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.
The ritzy event saw a custom Singer Racing Blue 911 appear, sporting a 360-horsepower, 3.8-liter flat-six. Officially called the Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer (pesky trademark agreements), it also generates a more-than-adequate 280 pound-feet of torque.

The new options run the gamut between style and function. Firmly on the style side is the new "second skin" interior, which matches the body color. In the case of Singer Racing Blue, the effect is striking, like being physically covered in Gulf Racing livery. The show car also sports a pair of carbon-fiber racing buckets that somehow blend modern technology and form factors with a kind of 1970s chic. Finally, a new adjustable suspension from Öhlins is available, for those that need a more sporting ride.
