Samba Sivaramen, died in a tragic way at Thursday, December 1 in a serious car accident in Ebène. At 76, this former employee and former Laboratory Candos Part-time Lecturer at the University of Mauritius, passed away at Victoria Hospital shortly after his arrival in the intensive care unit.
He was accompanied by his wife, his daughter and his son when the car in which he was finished his race against a pylon along the avenue leading to the Cyber Tower. It was now almost 15:50. According to preliminary investigation by the police in Rose Hill, his son lost control of his Toyota. He said he applied the brakes but the vehicle was packed and picked up speed.
Samba Sivaramen was already comatose when he was supported by the emergency services. His wife, Sheila, seriously injured ribs, is under observation at the private hospital Apollo-Bramwell. His condition is considered critical, however. His daughter, Nishi, had surgery on his arm in the early evening, as his son, Sanjiv Koreemun, injured ribs, at Victoria Hospital.
Samba Sivaramen lived in the rue René Goblet at Roches-Brunes. This, after years in Port Louis where he grew up.
