The Suzuki GSX-250R is inspired by the Suzuki GSX-R1000. It measures 2,085 mm in length, 740 mm in width and 1,110 mm in height, and has wheelbase of 1,430 mm. The seat height is measured at 780 mm.
The GSX-250R is powered by the 248 cc liquid-cooled, twin-cylinder engine of the Inazuma. The parallel-twin engine has been tuned to produce 18.4 kW (24.66 hp) at 8,000 rpm and 23.4 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm, and is linked to a 6-speed transmission.
The Suzuki GSX-250R weighs 178 kg and has a fuel tank of 15 litre capacity. On a full tank, it can be ridden 480 km, and this converts to a fuel economy of 32 km/l. The driver is aided with a fully digital instrument panel and the stopping power comes from a 290 mm disc brake at the front and a 240 mm disc brake at the rear.
The Suzuki GSX-250R will be manufactured by the Changzhou Haojue Suzuki Motorcycle company. Six colour schemes will be available, and the local media reports say that the bike will go on sale in China in November 2016.
