Plus, developers released the entire Horizon Japan map for us to peruse.

It has only been a few months since we got our first look at Forza Horizon 6. It will release on May 19, and the developer has released a first look at actual gameplay footage to excite fans (scroll down to see for yourself).

The six-minute video is the game’s prologue, showcasing what players should expect. It opens with the player driving a 2024 Nissan GT-R Nismo through a canopy of cherry blossoms, then into the rural countryside. The road winds past quiet homes and gorgeous fields before pulling alongside a bullet train.

The player then transitions to piloting a trophy truck, RJ Anderson’s No. 37 Polaris RZR Pro 4, down a snowy mountainside, dodging trees and other racers. The prologue then highlights the Touge roads available in the game, which you will get to experience with a 1995 Porsche 911 GT2.

The prologue concludes with the player driving the 2025 GR GT Prototype, which is on the game’s cover. The video captures some of the environments the game will offer, including a rocket launch pad.

The game’s official X account also posted a photo of the complete map in its summer season. There’s a major city on the south side, Tokyo City, and snow-covered mountains in the north.

Between those are at least two airports, a handful of tiny towns, beaches, plenty of great driving roads, and tons of places to explore. There are roads inspired by the C1 loop, which circles three of Tokyo’s central districts, Gingko Avenue, and more. We can't wait to explore.
