Top 5 Nissan Juke-R Videos
From street races with supercars to track battles with the GT-R, we’ve collated some of the best Juke-R videos circulating cyberspace.

We have come to love the Nissan Juke-R. The ultimate street-sleeper combines the tall-hatch body of a Nissan Juke with the soul of a Nissan GT-R, and while the original concept packed a 478-hp punch, Nissan recently upped the muscle in the limited production-run Juke-R to 545 hp by fitting the 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 from the 2012 GT-R. The first model recently sold for £400,000 (around Rs 19,94M), and while its owner will doubtless be en route to the Autobahn to flog the potent crossover from 0-100 in three seconds flat and onto a top speed of 274 km/h, we'll have to make do with looking at some awesome footage.

Car and Driver wanted to see how the Juke-R would fair against the Porsche 911 GT2 RS, so they took the cars to the Bedford Autodrome. The Juke-R used in this video is based on the older 485-horsepower setup. Jethro Bovingdon felt it was more aggressive than the GT-R, although perhaps a tad on the heavy side.

In arguably the most famous Juke-R video in cyberspace, Nissan's GT Academy winner Lucas Ordonez pilots the Juke-R to victory in a supercar street battle with a Lamborghini Gallardo, Ferrari 458 Italia and Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG. Multiple camera footage showcases the Juke-R's awesome performance capabilities.

Shot by award-winning director Rob Kaplan, "Nissan Juke-R: Desert Nemesis" follows Lucas Ordonez during the aforementioned Dubai showdown, which takes place at a tightly designed make-shift 0.58km street track in Dubai on the sidelines of the 24-Hour endurance race held there.

Here the Juke-R challenges its mechanical sister the GT-R on the track. The Juke-R put up a valiant fight, coming up just 1.3 seconds short of the GT-R, which is impressive considering the Juke-R used was the original 485-hp version and the GT-R was the new 545-hp unit.

Here perennial supercar spotter Marchettino rides shotgun in the Juke-R while Italian F1 driver Vitantonio Liuzzi did a couple of quick laps around a wet and cold track. The 3-minute video is a mix of onboard and exterior footage, giving us a comprehensive look at the crazy crossover accelerating, powersliding and drifting from a range of angles.
