Transformers 5's Mercedes-AMG GT R and Corvette Z06 spied

Well, here it is, captured filming near Webberville, MI.

The AMG GT R will play the role of Drift, an Autobot that featured in the fourth Transformers film as a black-and-blue Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse. Per our previous report, Drift is still a samurai in his undisguised form, although considering the red-on-black color scheme in these spy shots, he's in for a color change. Like his Veyron form, Drift's disguised form is relatively stock compared to the crazier looks on Bumblebee and Barricade.

New to the series is Crosshairs – the lime green-and-black Chevrolet Corvette Z06. We don't know a lot about the newest Transformer, since it seems like he's new to the series' canon. Considering he's hanging out here with Drift and Bumblebee – and the fact that GM has almost exclusively supplied vehicles to Autobots – we're guessing he's one of the good guys. Transformers' vehicle team made heavier modifications to the Z06's body than Drift's bone-stock AMG GT R – the rear spoiler looks like the biggest change – but it's not as aggressive as Bumblebee or Barricade.
