TVS to Launch 5 New Products by December 2014

After the launch of the TVS Phoenix 125cc motorcycle in December 2012, the company has been inching forward without any new products. However, the months ahead will see an array of new products.

Business-standard.com reports that TVS is gearing up to launch 5 new products by the end of December 2015. Speaking about the lack of new products so far, Mr. Venu Srinivasan, chairman and managing director of TVS Motor Company, said -

We are doing everything to improve our quality and technology. In the last three years the focus has been on improving the quality keeping BMW and Honda as benchmark. These improvements delayed some of our launches.

We all know that TVS is working on a bigger scooter based on the Wego platform. That along with another scooter and a motorcycle will be launched by this fiscal. The refresh for the Star City and the Scooty Pep+, and the successor for the popular Victor could also be in the cards.

The upcoming new products would certainly help TVS in improving its market share.
