Two dead and several injured in road accidents
Bagwatee Seebaluck, a septuagenarian, died Monday morning, crushed under the wheels of a bus.

The tragedy occurred at around 9:15 in Quartier Militaire. The victim, a resident of St-Julien-d'Hotman, had traveled on board the same bus.

According to information, after being off the bus, she is preparing to cross the street in front of the vehicle. But the bus driver did not see Bagwatee Seebaluck and came under the wheels of the vehicle. The ambulance has been summoned to the scene and the death of the victim was found. The autopsy report performed by the medical examiner reveals a "shock due to multiple insults". The bus driver, aged 57, appeared in court on a charge of manslaughter. Police opened an investigation.

Moreover, Sreelleebus Salim, a resident of Quatre-Bornes, was fatally hit by a van on the evening of Saturday. The victim, aged 45, was crossing the road when she was struck by the vehicle traveling in the direction of Flic en Flac. The forties was rushed to hospital but doctors could only find death. The autopsy report performed by the medical examiner attributed the death to a "shock due to injury." The driver of the vehicle, a resident of Eau Coulee, aged 43, tested negative to the test. Police opened an investigation to determine the exact circumstances of the accident

A forty-year resident of Quatre-Bornes was admitted to hospital after a fall Saturday morning, Candos. He was in the truck in which he worked when he made this fall, landing, and on the asphalt. The victim was seriously injured. The breath test performed on the truck driver was negative.

A young man living in Baie du Tombeau was seriously injured in a collision between his motorcycle and a vehicle Sunday night. The incident occurred in Triolet. The driver of the vehicle, in his statement to police, said he was traveling in the direction of Arsenal when a motorcycle coming in the opposite direction collided with his van.

The motorcyclist was rushed to hospital SSR, where he was admitted to intensive care. His case is considered serious. The driver of the van suffered a breath test which proved negative. 

Other reportable accident, Sunday afternoon at Forest-Side involving a bus, a car and a motorcycle. The accident left eight injured including two admitted to the intensive care unit at the hospital in Rose-Belle. 

The injured are drivers of the bus and car, motorcycle, receiver bus and four passengers who were on the bus. Police opened an investigation to determine the exact circumstances of the accident.
