Two months after the accident at Le Morne is a third victim
Steve Labonne, a mason of 27 years, died on the evening of Sunday, July 31, nearly two months after an accident on the main road to Le Morne.

The record of an accident, which occurred Tuesday, June 14 heavier and now stands at three dead. Of the five passengers who occupied the van, only two came out alive. Their health has improved significantly and they were able to return home. Steve Labonne, a mason of 27 years and living in Baie-du-Cap died on the evening of Sunday, July 31, at Victoria Hospital in Candos. 

An autopsy by the medical examiner, Dr. Saib Baichoo reveals that Steve Labonne was struck by sepsis, systemic infection of various organs. The tragedy occurred when the minibus in which were the inhabitants of Baie-du-Cap attempted to avoid a puddle in the middle of the main road at Le Morne. It struck in a tree. 

Liong Kim Cheong Cheong Youn Fon, 39, who were driving and Richard Louis Désiré, 26, were killed instantly.Their deaths were recorded by the emergency services dispatched to the scene of the accident. 

For the inhabitants of Le Morne, the road conditions and lack of foresight of the authorities in wet weather are responsible for the accident.
