Watch Porsche set a Guinness World Record towing a plane
Remember that stunt Toyota did a few years ago in which a Tundra towed a space shuttle 12 miles?

Well, it seems Porsche decided to do something similar, but with a lot more weight. The company drove a couple of Cayennes, a diesel Cayenne S and a Cayenne Turbo S, from London to the Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris to tow an Airbus A380. For those unfamiliar, the A380 double-decker jet is the largest plane Airbus builds.

At the airport, Porsche towed the plane with both Cayennes. Representatives from Guinness World Records were on hand to record the event, which put Porsche in the record book for the heaviest aircraft towed by a production car. Naturally, Porsche recorded the pull on video for your viewing pleasure. One thing to keep in mind, though, is that it's a very brief pull. Unlike the Tundra, the Cayenne only pulled the plane 42 meters. So it's a heavier load than Toyota's, but not a longer one. Porsche does say it drove both Cayennes back to London after the towing with no issues, so there's at least that.
