This is What a Tire-Melting Infrared Burnout Looks Like
Red Bull racer tears it up in infrared.
We’ve seen supercar burnouts, slow-mo burnouts, American muscle burnouts, and even a Rolls Royce burning some black rubber. But this is the first time we’ve seen tire-melting donuts through the eyes of an infrared camera. Filmed at the Gamma Racing Day using a FLIR x6580sc infrared camera, check out the beautiful colors created by the Red Bull RB8 F1 racer laying down some serious heat on the track.
The tires and side-mounted exhaust heat is intense, while the contrast of the burnout in normal video and infrared shown at the end of the video is worth waiting for.
