The latest generation Z just blew two candles off its birthday cake, and while Nissan didn't throw a party for the sports car, Liberty Walk has, albeit it was a small, digital, and kind of restrained one.

All jokes aside, the Nissan Z is taken seriously at the tuner based in the Land of the Rising Sun. Liberty Walk has had several encounters with this model over the last two years, and we like all of them, especially that white and red copy we wrote about last summer.

The latest we came across has had its pictures shared online by the tuner's founder, and it is a muscular proposal with a rather clean look. It sports fender flares and new side skirts, has a more pronounced chin, a different diffuser, and a fat trunk lid spoiler that extends onto the muscular shoulders.

No tuning job would be complete these days without a set of aftermarket wheels, and the pictured Nissan Z also ticks this box. The alloys have an eight-spoke design, and they are both bigger and wider than the stock offering. They neatly fit under the arches even with the adjustable air suspension on its lowest setting.

Sometimes, Liberty Walk's projects feature the typical decals, yet in this instance, they chose to keep the body ultra-clean. The sports car has a black look, and even the attachments sport this hue. We think it would've looked far prettier with smoked lighting units, privacy windows, and black alloys for a murdered-out proposal, but we won't complain about it at all (even if we just did).

The famous Japanese tuner does not tend to mess with the oily bits of its projects. As a result, the 3.0-liter engine, which is a V6 with twin turbocharging, likely produces the same output and torque as it did when the Nissan Z rolled off the assembly line at the Tochigi factory in its homeland. The power unit is rated at 400 horsepower (406 ps/298 kW), and it has 350 pound-foot (475 Nm) of torque.

The sportier Nissan Z Nismo is 20 hp (20 ps/15 kW) and 34 pound-feet (46 Nm) punchier and is only available with an automatic transmission. Besides the extra oomph, this model features a re-tuned chassis and a stiffer mounting bushing on the steering rack. It rides on 10x19-inch front and 10.5x19-inch rear wheels, wrapped in Dunlop SP Sport MAXX GT600 tires, and packs additional goodies.

Stuff such as the front and rear bumpers are exclusive to this model, and so are the new sills and fatter lip spoiler. These improve the car's downforce and join the Recaro bucket seats wrapped in leather and Alcantara, the new steering wheel, fresh graphics on the digital gauge cluster, and red drive mode and engine start/stop buttons.
