We were all but totally smitten when we got our first chance to play and review Forza Motorsport 5 this past fall, and still see the title as the crown jewel of the current lineup of Xbox One games. (Though admittedly we're biased about, you know, car games.)
Good news then, if you've been holding off on pulling the trigger until now: Forza and Xbox are offering a bundle. Starting on March 10 and running for a limited time, you can pick up an Xbox One for the retail price ($500), and get Forza 5 thrown in, normally $60 retail, gratis.
While the original source for the news is a bit shy in terms of detail, we reached out to Xbox for some further, more granular information on the deal. We can report that the bundle includes all the normal components that ship with XB1: Kinect sensor, one wireless controller and a headset. There won't be a physical disc for Forza in the box, but there will be a token for a digital download of the complete title. The file is about 34.32 GB, for what it's worth.
The Xbox team also indicated that the Forza bundle is a limited time, limited availability deal, and does not indicate a price reduction for the Xbox One hardware.
