Yatin Varma Case: New Witness Defends the General Attorney
A new witness appeared at the police station of Quatre Bornes on Thursday 23 May. This driver supports the defense of General Attorney Yatin Varma.
It is suspected of molesting a young driver Floreant Jeannot, following a road accident that occurred on May 4 at Quatre Bornes.
In his statement to the police, the witness said he was in the area at the time of the accident. At no time, he said, he saw Yatin Varma attack the driver.
Florent Jeannot alleges that the Attorney General would have manhandled after his car collided with the BMW Yatin Varma. Six witnesses confirmed his version to the police.
For its part, the General Attorney denies the allegations against him. He says he broke his right arm in the accident.
