11% increase in prices of petroleum products
The 'Export and Import Price Indices, 2nd Quarter', released by the Central Statistics Office 26.09, are as follows: the Export Price Index rose 0.4% in the second quarter 2011 and 0.1% in the second quarter of 2010.

The Import Price Index has risen from 2.7% in the second quarter of 2011 increased 4.6% quarter 2010.

The index of terms of trade, Terms of Trade Index, that is to say, the report of the Export Price Index Import Price Index in, fell by 2 percentage points (from 83 pts to 81 pts ) in the second quarter of 2011 and 3 points (84 pts to 81 pts) in the second quarter of 2010. 

According to the Central Statistics Office, the prices of our food exports increased by 2.7% between April and June 2011. They are up 2.2% from second quarter 2010 and second quarter of 2011. 

The prices of our manufactured exports were down by 0.7% between April and June 2011 and an increase of 0.2% between the second quarters 2010 and 2011.

The price of fuel and imported petroleum products, according to the Central Statistics Office, showed a 11% increase in second quarter 2011, an increase of 19.8% between the second quarters 2010 and 2011. 

The prices of 'Manufactured goods classified chiefly by material' showed a 5.1% increase in the second quarter 2011 and 2.5% between the second quarters 2010 and 2011.
