What will be new in Toyota's for 2011

Toyota 4Runner It was completely redesigned last year, and next year Toyota 4Runner will obtain slight refreshes.

Toyota Avalon The next Toyota Avalon gets few updates that include a new grille, reshaped bumpers front and rear, new wheels and a bit more chrome trim. The interior was improved with better materials and up to date electronics. Bluetooth now is standard and the navigation system gets new interface that makes it easier to enter destinations. A rear-view back-up camera is also standard when you order the navigation system. There are no changes in the drive train, while the Avalon still uses a 268-horsepower V6 and a six-speed automatic transmission.

Toyota Camry It’s mainly a carryover model. The one change is adding of low-rolling-resistance tires to all V6 models, which improves their EPA fuel economy calculations from 8 city/12 highway to 8.5 city/12.5 highway litres per km.

Toyota FJ Cruiser There are some refreshes in Toyota FJ Cruiser for the next year. A locking rear differential becomes standard on models with a manual transmission. It’s still optional on automatic-equipped models. The front seats slide further forward to make better rear-seat access, and new foldable rear headrests have been added to enhance backward visibility. The standard audio system has been improved with Bluetooth connectivity, a USB-port and extra steering-wheel controls. An optional 10-speaker JBL premium audio system is also novel. The optional Trail Teams package gets a military idea that includes Army Green exterior paint accented by a blacked-out grille, bumpers and door handles. The interior gets green fabric, multiple electrical outlets and a standard JBL premium audio system.

Toyota Highlander For the 2011 it gets slight upgrades. The visible exterior changes are revised front, modernized rocker panels, new wheels and redesigned taillights. There are no drive train modifications for the Highlander, but the four-cylinder engine is now accessible in either base or SE trim. Base of this auto now come standard with a 50/50-split third-row seat and rear climate controls. A new Tech Audio package is offered on base models that include Bluetooth, USB connection, a rear back-up camera and satellite radio.

Toyota Land Cruiser There are no noteworthy changes to Toyota Land Cruiser for 2011.

Toyota Matrix Toyota closed the California factory where the most of its Matrix wagons alongside the Pontiac Vibe were assembled. The Matrix is still manufactured at one of Toyota's Canadian plants. For the model there are not any important changes in the next year.

Toyota Prius The automaker didn’t make significant changes to the Prius for the next year.

Toyota RAV4 The single modify to the 2011 Toyota RAV4 is a new optional Upgrade Value Package. Presented just on base models, it adds 17-inch alloy wheels, a roof rack, tinted windows, sunroof and colour-keyed door handles. Moreover it has refreshed audio system with XM Radio and steering wheel audio controls.

Toyota Sequoia The death of the full-size SUV has been greatly overstated, as the 2011 Toyota Sequoia remains in the line-up with little changes. An improved trailer hitch connector and a switch for turning off the daytime running lights are the only modifications.

Toyota Sienna Totally redesigned Sienna now has an optional four-cylinder engine and a new SE trim level that offers sportier handling. There are five trim levels in all — base, LE, SE, XLE and Limited. The 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine is the same one proposed in the Highlander and Venza and it's offered only on base and LE trim levels. Rated at 187 hp, it consumes 8 city and 11 highway litre per km according to EPA estimates. The 266-hp 3.5-liter V6 is accessible on all trim levels and is rated at 7.6 city and 10.2 highway litre per km. Both engines use a six-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is optional once again, but only on LE, XLE and Limited models equipped with the V6. The SE model gets its own unique exterior styling along with a retuned suspension, quicker steering and 19-inch wheels and tires. Although this Sienna is almost the same dimensions as its forerunner, there's a little less interior space than before. Second-row seats are optional along with a power-folding third-row seat.

Toyota Tacoma Tacoma has extra two packages, a little interior refreshes and a wider choice of four-cylinder models. The new TX and TX Pro packages are offered on extended cab and crew cab V6 models equipped with the TRD off-road package. The TX package has 16-inch black bead-lock wheels, 265/70R16 BFG Rugged Trail tires, black tubular side steps and a stainless-steel exhaust tip. The TX Pro package adds a cat-back exhaust system and custom bed graphics on top of the standard package. All Tacoma regular cabs now offer standard air-conditioning, while any Tacoma with a six-disc CD changer also gets a factory satellite radio receiver. A new Convenience Extra Value package is accessible on crew cab models and adds a sliding rear window, keyless entry and steering wheel audio controls. There are five new four-cylinder models available for 2011: 4x2 extra cab Prerunner, 4x2 crew cab Prerunner, 4x2 crew cab and 4x4 regular cab and extra cab models. All of these models feature a four-speed automatic transmission.

Toyota Tundra Toyota Tundra received just slight updates for the 2011. The base V6 has been enhanced with the same variable valve timing system (VVT-i) as the V8s. It's now rated at 270 hp (up from 236) and 278 pound-feet of torque (up from 266 lb-ft.). An electronic trailer sway control system has been added to all Tundras to improve stability while towing.

Toyota Venza The Toyota Venza shows no essential changes next year.

Toyota Yaris With a redesign on the way, Yaris leftovers unchanged.
