What will be new in Kia’s for 2011

Going on the list of new car for 2011, today with Kia.

Kia ForteThe 2011 Forte sedan comes back to the Kia vehicle line-up with a new sibling, the Forte five-door hatchback. Other changes to the Forte are nominal. The base-level Forte LX is standard with the six-speed manual, as EX and SX trim levels propose a standard six-speed automatic transmission with Sportmatic clutchless shifting (optional on the LX trim). A navigation system is also now accessible, and LED daytime running lights have been added to the Forte's exterior.

Kia OptimaOptima is fully redesigned for 2011. Optima LX and EX are powered by a 2.4-liter four-cylinder rated at 200 horsepower and 277 kg/m of torque. A six-speed manual is standard on the LX Manual, while a six-speed automatic is standard on all other Optimas.
Standard equipment on the manual-transmission-equipped entry-level LX includes 16-inch steel wheels, keyless entry, full power accessories, a height-adjustable driver seat with power lumbar adjustment, air-conditioning, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel and a stereo with a CD player, satellite radio, an auxiliary audio jack and an iPod/USB audio interface. An Optima LX with automatic transmission adds alloy wheels, cruise control and the availability of the Convenience package, which consists of an eight-way power driver seat and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.
The EX comes standard with the Convenience package, plus 17-inch alloy wheels, heated mirrors, automatic headlights, foglights, keyless ignition/entry, dual-zone automatic climate control, rear air vents and leather upholstery. The EX Turbo gets a more powerful engine, bigger brakes and a different grille design. The SX is also turbocharged but has a sport-tuned suspension, 18-inch wheels, xenon headlights, LED taillights, a rear lip spoiler, unique bumper designs, steering-wheel paddle shifters and an upgraded trip computer.
The Technology package (offered for all trims except the manual-equipped LX) adds a rearview camera, a navigation system, an eight-speaker Infinity sound system and, on the LX, dual-zone climate control and rear air vents. Kia RioNot a lot is new for Kia's entry-level Rio sedan and Rio5 hatchback. Bluetooth has been added to the Rio's LX Value package, and the LX and SX trims are limited to an automatic transmission.

Kia SedonaThe big news for Kia's popular Sedona minivan this year is a new 271-hp 3.5-liter V6 engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The new powertrain replaces the old 3.5-liter V6 and five-speed auto. Kia also adds some design and convenience features for 2011, including standard Bluetooth, steering-wheel audio controls and an EcoMinder indicator. An updated front grille, outside mirror turn signal indicators and new 16- and 17-inch wheel designs refreshed the Sedona's exterior.

Kia Sorento Manufacturer wholly modernized its Sorento crossover SUV for 2011, presenting four levels of trim and front-wheel and all-wheel drive. The base model has a six-speed manual transmission, as the others get a six-speed automatic. Optional is a 276-hp 3.5-liter V6 mated to the six-speed automatic. Front-wheel drive is standard for all trims, while LX and EX can opt up to all-wheel drive.
The base model comes standard with 17-inch alloy wheels, full power accessories, air-conditioning, a tilt-and-telescoping multifunction steering wheel, a trip computer, Bluetooth connectivity and a CD/MP3 audio system with satellite radio and a USB audio jack. The Sorento LX adds a six-speed automatic transmission, body-colour heated outside mirrors with integrated LED turn signals, and a second-row armrest with cup holder.
EX builds on the LX's standard list, adding 18-inch alloy wheels, keyless ignition/entry, dual-zone automatic climate control (with rear air-conditioning on V6 models) and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. The sporty SX goes further with aggressive exterior styling details, a sport-tuned suspension, leather upholstery, heated front seats, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, unique metallic interior trim, a rear-view camera and a 10-speaker Infinity sound system.

Kia SoulAn all-new model in 2010, this model gets mainly packaging updates for 2011. A trip computer, illuminated window switches and a folding key have been added to the standard equipment list. Heated outside mirrors are now obtainable on upper trim levels, and a cargo cover, automatic climate control, push-button start system and leather seats are now optional.
