2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Ready to Launch in Malaysia
The 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe has been spotted in Malaysia suggesting an impending launch in the country.
The new Santa Fe is way ahead of its predecessor in terms of design. The SUV emerges as the best looking car in its segment, thanks to its “Strom Edge” design philosophy.
Paultan.org reports that the new Santa Fe would be launched in Malaysia by the end of June. Spyshots show that the initial shipment of the cars have already arrived.
The Santa Fe for the Malaysian market is powered by the 2.2 litre diesel engine which has 194 bhp on tap. The engine is the same unit that powers the current model. As it is, the Santa Fe is the most powerful SUV in its segment and Hyundai has decided not to re-look the outputs. For the Malaysian market, the engine will be mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
