The images that got out include both a standard C-Class wearing its all-new skin, as well as an AMG version. Images of the interior were also leaked, and perfectly match the batch of interior images that Mercedes officially released last week.
The design we see in these leaked images show a stunning sedan, one more organic yet handsome than we were expecting based the heavily clad prototypes seen in spy photos for months. The connection to current Mercedes design trends is clear, with the front end of the standard C-Class looking like a 4/5ths S-Class, and the sides and sloping rear deck lid looking just like the hind quarters of the smaller CLA-Class. The AMG model, meanwhile, looks more like an E-Class up front.
All we have are these images, so there's no news to report in regards to tech or specs. That will have to wait until the new C-Class debuts at an upcoming auto show. We've got our money on the Detroit Auto Show in January or Geneva Motor Show in March.
