The Italian brand has showcased the pickup truck in two styles – a double cab version which seems to target private buyers, and a single cab, load-lugging version.
The front fascia of the 2016 Fullback is adorned with LED daytime running lights, projector headlights and a triple-slat chrome grille, whereas the side profile shows chunky tyres on diamond-cut alloy wheels, and chrome embellished door handles and wing mirror covers. Towards the rear, the Fullback gets a sports bar, and L-shaped taillight clusters.
Under the hood, the 2016 Fullback packs a 2.4-liter 16 valve inline four-cylinder petrol engine capable of 132 hp at 5,250 rpm and 202 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm paired to a 5-speed manual transmission, or an automatic transmission in case of the Double Cab version. Fiat will offer the 2016 Fullback with 2WD and 4WD options.
The 2WD Fullback is claimed to have a top-speed of 169 km/h, and features an independent wishbone with coil springs up front and elliptical leaf springs at the rear. Stopping power comes from 15-inch ventilated disc brakes at the front and 10-inch drum brakes at the rear.
