The ZX-14R is offered in the name of ZZR1400 in European markets. The 2016 model is available there in two variants – the ZZR1400 and the ZZR1400 Performance Sports. While the former is the standard version, the latter gets new Brembo M50 monobloc brake calipers with Brembo radial-pump master cylinder and stainless steel brake lines, Ohlins TTX39 rear shock absorber, and Akrapovic exhaust.
The standard revisions in the 2016 version include a new instrument cluster with dot-background LCDs and black/white interchangeable display.
Despite the changes made to lower the emissions, the company claims that performance is unaffected. The 1,441 cc liquid-cooled, inline four-cylinder engine produces 200 PS of peak power. The motorcycle is capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h in under 2.6 seconds, and the top speed is electronically limited to 299 km/h.
