The facelifted Estima features an aggressive front end with sharper headlamps, slim LED DRLs, new hexagonal grille and a sporty bumper. It has a dual tone red and black exterior color combination, a thin chrome slat in the upper grille that links both headlamps, and additional chrome details added to the lower section of the doors.
Although the interior hasn’t been leaked, the Estima facelift is reported to offer a choice between Toyota Safety Sense P and C packages. The Toyota Safety Sense P package includes pre-collision system with pedestrian detection function and radar cruise control, while the Safety Sense C package comes with pre-collision system, Lane Departure Alert and Automatic High Beam as standard.
The facelifted model will only be available as a hybrid model, which combines a 2.4-litre 2AZ-FXE petrol engine good for 110 kW (150 PS/ hp) and 190 Nm of torque with two electric motors. The 2JM electric motor produces 105 kW (143 PS/ hp) and 270 Nm of torque, while 2FM electric motor generates 50 kW (68 PS/ hp) and 130 Nm of torque.
