2017 Ford Fusion Sport Brings Fresh Face and Turbo Performance
The 2017 Ford Fusion benefits from an attractive facelift as part of its refresh, but the Blue Oval also hopes to lure customers with an extra dash of performance from the new Fusion V6 Sport trim.

The automaker slots a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 under the hotter sedan's hood, pumping out 325 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque, and the power then routes through a six-speed automatic gearbox to an all-wheel-drive system.

The gallery above shows off the Fusion Sport during its unveiling at the 2016 Detroit Auto Show. Click through to see how Ford's designers make the sedan's styling a little more aggressive with changes like a black mesh grille, dark 19-inch wheels, a tiny spoiler on the trunk, and dual exhausts at each rear corner. Inside, the Fusion's interior now features a rotary dial to select the gears, and the Blue Oval's latest Sync 3 infotainment system.

The 2017 Fusion goes on sale this summer starting at $22,995, and the Sport arrives a few weeks later for $34,350.
