The 2017 Honda CBR250R gains a sporty with the side panel with the CBR badging in black. The Honda logo moves to the undercowl. The Honda CB250F, which is its naked cousin, gains dynamic graphic stripe on the side of the radiator shroud and the seat cowl. The naked will be available in two colour options, Millennium Red and Black.
The faired 2017 Honda CBR250R will get three colour schemes to pick from which include Millennium Red, Black and Ross White. The Ross White scheme does not get decals. The bikes also gain a bronze colour finish for the cylinder head cover and crankcase cover. The Honda CBR250R and CB250F have a kerb weight of 161 kg and 158 kg respectively.
Powering the bikes is a 249 cc single cylinder DOHC mill coupled to a six-speed gearbox. The engine is capable of producing 29 PS of maximum power at 9,000 rpm and 23 Nm of peak torque at 7,500 rpm. The bikes can store 13 litres of fuel and while the faired version has a ground clearance of 145 mm, the naked registers 150 mm.
