New Honda Jazz not planned for Indian launch this year, it is reported.

Just days after introducing the 2017 Honda Jazz in Malaysia, Honda has launched the facelifted model in Thailand today. The facelift brings a number of updates to the car and introduces its first-ever 'RS' variant.

The 2017 Honda Jazz features a newly-designed front grille and bumpers, new LED headlights with LED daytime running lights, LED front fog lights and new alloy wheels on the outside. The RS variant sports RS-specific bumpers, RS emblem on the grille, side skirts, black ORVMs, 16-inch alloy wheels, rear spoiler, six speakers and seat covers with orange stitching.

The RS variant also gets Phoenix Orange and White Orchid Pearl exclusive exterior colours. On the inside, Honda has replaced the previous 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a 6.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

The facelift has not brought new engine options to Honda Jazz. The 2017 Honda Jazz is powered by the 1.5-litre i-VTEC four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 86 kW (117 PS) at 6,000 rpm and 146 Nm of torque at 4,700 rpm. Power is sent to the wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission or a continuously variable transmission. Paddle shifters are available only in the RS variant.
