Leaked brochure scans reveal that the 2017 Honda Shuttle (Honda City Wagon) will get additional safety equipment and added features.

The car is expected to go on sale in the coming months.

The 2017 Honda Shuttle will gain the Honda Sensing safety package. As part of the safety kit, the car will get a whole host of safety and driver assistive technologies including Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM), Adaptive Crusie Control (ACC), Collision Mitigation Braking System (CBMS), and Forward Collision Warning (FCW). Additional features that could be a part of the Honda Sensing pack include Honda LaneWatch, Blind Spot Information System, Cross Traffic Monitor and Auto High-Beam Headlights.

The Shuttle will also get the latest version of the Honda Sport Hybrid Intelligent Dual Clutch Drive or i-DCD. This system coordinates between the 1.5 L i-VTEC petrol engine, the Lithium-ion battery powered motor and the 7-speed dual clutch transmission.

Other features on offer on the 2017 Honda Shuttle include LED fog lights, updated ETC onboard equipment, new cup holder, Plasmacluster technology equipped dual zone automatic climate control and heated front seats.

The Shuttle is based on the same platform as the new City. It gets added practicality thanks to its estate body type which offers cargo space worth 570 liters (1,141 liters with the rear seats folded). The 184 cm loading bay enables the user to carry long items as well. The Shuttle is available in front wheel drive and all wheel drive formats.

Currently, prices start at 1,695,000 Yen (Rs 509 600) for the petrol powered G variant. The range topping Hybrid Z all-wheel drive costs 2,557,000 Yen (Rs 768 700).
