The 2017 Toyota Corolla features styling and equipment upgrades. With the facelift, the Toyota Corolla incorporates the company's Under Priority and Keen Look design. Up front, the new Corolla features a slimmer radiator grille, new LED headlamps clusters, new LED light guides, revised bumper and a large lower grille.
The profile gets freshness with new 16- and 17-inch alloy wheels and a new chrome trim finish on the door handles. At the rear, the tail lamps have new LED clusters while the chrome tailgate applique is slimmer. Three new colour choices come in with the facelift: Platinum Bronze, Tokyo Red and Earth Bronze, but it remains to be seen which of these will come to India.
The 2017 Toyota Corolla has some changes on the inside too. The outer end HVAC vents are circular, the MID in the instrument panel has an updated software, and the build quality of materials and upholstery has improved. The 2ZR-FE 103 kW (138.07 hp) 1.8-litre petrol engine and 1ND-TV 65 kW (87.13 hp) 1.4-litre diesel engine should continue untouched along with 6-speed manual and Super CVT-i transmissions with the MY2017 update.
