877 complaints against bus drivers
The National Transport Authority received 877 complaints from 2008 to 2010 against the bus drivers who deliberately leave students and pensioners at bus stops.

Of these complaints, 681 were filed by students and 196 complaints by seniors. Surveys were conducted and permits suspended for periods ranging from two weeks to six months depending on the seriousness of the offense.

14 bus owners have been reprimanded and sealed on the bus for a period of at least two weeks. A committee was appointed to consider the problems of the free transport system.
