The Abarth 695 Rivale Was Inspired By A Luxury Yacht
Behold "the most sophisticated Abarth ever."

Fiat is continuing to flaunt its partnership with yacht maker Riva with the launch of yet another stylish special edition 500 hatchback, combining the vigour of an Abarth with the grace and elegance of a Riva luxury yacht to create "the most sophisticated Abarth ever." Dubbed the Abarth 695 Rivale, the feisty hatchback is being sold in limited quantities and will be available either as a hatchback or cabriolet in a unique two-tone Riva Sera Blue and Shark Grey paintwork livery.

Further setting it apart from the standard 500 is an aquamarine double stripe that runs at waistline height resembling the "beauty line" on yachts, and the door handles are coated in satin chrome. Other exterior enhancements include "695 Rivale" badges gracing the tailgate and rear bumpers and satin chrome moulding on the tailgate which "evokes the sophisticated shapes of a yacht," in case you needed any more yacht comparisons. The nautical theme continues in the luxurious cabin, with carbon fiber kick plates, leather seats and door panels, along with a carbon fiber dashboard which can also be fitted with swish mahogany accents, if you so desire.

The mahogany theme also adds a steering wheel covered in blue and black leather with a mahogany badge, a blue leather instrument panel cover and mahogany gear lever knob and kick plate. The Abarth 695 Rivale is powered by a 1.4 turbocharged engine that produces 180 hp, with a power to weight ratio entering supercar territory at 5.8 kg/HP, allowing it to hit 0-62 mph in just 6.7 seconds before reaching a top speed of 140 mph. Joining it is the Abarth 695 Rivale 175 Anniversary to commemorate the 175th anniversary of the Riva brand. Limited to 350 units split between 175 cabriolets and hatchbacks, each feature unique 17-inch alloy wheels, celebratory logos and hand-finished leather seats.
