A Bangalore based motorcycle builder, Prodigy Customs, has customised the Bajaj Avenger 220.
The customised Bajaj Avenger 220 gets a 19-inch front wheel and a monoshock rear suspension. The swing arm has been changed while the exhaust has been replaced with a free flow Cobra titanium made unit. The new fuel tank can store 25 litres of petrol, which will translate to a far longer range. Along with a blue scheme, it also gets orange decals and twin black metal rods on both sides.
Brakes include a disc unit in the front and a drum setup in the rear. The alloy wheels are new. The new tall set handlebar promises comfort, while the instrumentation cluster has been shifted to the top of the fuel tank. The mirrors are also custom and add to the edgy look of the motorcycle.
The front suspension of the customised Bajaj Avenger 220 gets an upside down fork. It also gets a solo seat in leather. The bike comes with new LED headlamp and tail lamp unit. The rear indicators have been integrated into the tail lamp.
Apart from a metal body kit, the bike receives Cree fog lamps and 12 volt USB phone charger. The free flow air filter system promises better pickup.
In stock form, the Bajaj Avenger gets a 220 cc air cooled mill assisted by an oil cooler. The gearbox is a 5-speed unit. The engine is capable of producing 19.03 PS of maximum power at 8,400 rpm and 17.5 Nm of peak torque at 7,000 rpm.
