Beijing: Honda Concept B
Honda has showcased a brand new concept car at the 2014 Beijing Auto Show, without divulging much information.

The Honda Concept B sedan is developed specifically for the Chinese market. It is aimed at the younger customers and is ‘cool’ and ‘practical’.

Honda has confirmed that the production model will be launched in two years and it plans to have a hybrid variant (FUNTEC) for “excellent fuel economy”. Honda also says the technology would provide “excellent driving pleasure”.

Besides the Concept B, Honda is showcasing the Vezel which will be launched in the last quarter of 2014 in China. It will use a 1.5-liter petrol engine paired with a five-speed manual or a CVT.

To debut early next year in India, the Honda Jazz (Honda Fit) has also been announced for China and displayed at the stall. It will launch in the second half of the year with the same 1.5L engine producing 131 hp and 155 Nm of torque, paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox or a CVT.
