A remarkable video shows how you solve a seemingly impossible problem - turning sharp right on a narrow Highland road carrying a 200-foot turbine blade.

The incredible feat of skill is pulled off thanks to patience, very careful measurement, and rear wheels that are steered electronically from the cab.

The clip shows the 197ft blade clear the railings on a bridge with just inches to spare.

The Dutch makers of the specially designed trailer, Nooteboom, posted the remarkable clip online which has now gone viral, with over 2.3 million views.

Filmed on the A87 between Loch Cluanie and Invergarry, the HGV and its remarkable load were on their way to a wind farm being constructed near Fort Augustus.

At the start of the clip, filmed on Saturday, the lorry is seen approaching the narrow entrance of the bridge and holding to the far left-hand-side of the road.

The HGV driver then swings the cab around the impossibly sharp bend, even managing to stay in the correct lane.

Travelling at a crawling pace, other workman can be seen directing the driver and checking to make sure the trailer is able to clear the rails at the side of the bridge.

Another workman is seen at the rear of the trailer on a radio helping the driver steer the trailer and gently navigate it around the bend.

Two police vehicles can be seen in the clip with one leading the HGV and another behind - stopping traffic and allowing the turbine blade through.

The immense 60 metre blade was being delivered the newly built Stronelairg wind farm at the Garrogie estate near Fort Augustus, Highland.

Uploading the clip online Nooteboom Trailers wrote: 'See how McFadyens from Scotland makes a 90 degrees right turn with a 60 metres blade with railings on both sides on the bridge.

'Great to see the possibilities of the SWC - Super Wing Carrier. Without, it is almost impossible to do such a transport.'

Currently the video has been viewed by more than 2.3 million social media users from around the world and has been shared by nearly 25,000.

Commenting on the footage, viewers praised the skilled team navigating the tight bend. Florence Ngaira wrote: 'Give that driver a bonus...'

Anne Marie Tom commented: 'Wow, absolutely brilliant driving, calmly and carefully done...'
