The combustion-only McLaren 750S and plug-in hybrid Ferrari 296 come to mind, with said midships putting out 740 and 819 ponies, respectively. From a carbon-fiber intake to a Wagner Tuning intercooler, forged internals, and the unavoidable remap, Manhart did plenty of things to the S58 twin-turbo I6 engine to extract such ridiculous power.
Prospective customers are further presented with a sportier exhaust with 200-cell HJS catalytic converters built into the downpipes. There is even an OPF-delete option, with OPF standing for gasoline particulate filter. Proven to a staggering 1,090 Newton-meters or 804 pound-feet, the MH3 800 includes H&R coilovers and staggered Raffa wheels.
Finished in Champagne on the demo car, the wheels in question are mounted with 285/30 ZR20 and 305/25 ZR21 rubber shoes. By comparison, the 2025 model year BMW M3 Touring for Europe ships with 275/30 R19s fore and 285/30 R20s for the rear axle. Still equipped with the stock carbon-ceramic brakes, the pictured MH3 800 features Manhart floor mats and Manhart's Sky Roof.
Unfortunately, the Wuppertal-based tuner did not release any pics of the interior. As far as the exterior is concerned, the black paintwork beautifully contrasts with Manhart's trademark gold accents and plenty of carbon fiber. The lightweight material is used for the radiator grille, lip spoiler, side gills and skirts, rear skirt, trunk spoiler, and the hood.
The finishing touch is a decal set in the color of the wheels. Pricing information for said kit has not been revealed, but we do have an idea about how much these babies cost from none other than Manhart. Listed on a website for a cool 211,894 euros with 12,500 kilometers on the clock, the demo car is more than a hundred big ones pricier than a base M3 Touring.
That's 106,300 euros for the 2025 model year in Germany, meaning 112,340 dollars at current exchange rates. Those who aren't impressed by the looks will be happy to learn that MH3 800 upgrades can be had piecemeal rather than as a complete upgrade package.
Even though you can have an M5 Touring in North America, the M3 Touring is a forbidden fruit. It's hard to understand why, but alas, Audi Sport and Mercedes-AMG did not bring the RS 4 Avant and C 63 T-Modell either.
The C 63 is a four-cylinder PHEV nowadays, while Audi Sport prepares to replace the RS 4 Avant with the new RS 5 line. Based on spied prototypes, we're dealing with a performance V6 and plug-in hybrid assistance. BMW M boss Frank van Meel has already confirmed that inline-six muscle will be featured in the next-generation M3, which is to be joined by a battery-electric M3 based on the Neue Klasse platform of the next-generation i3.
