Just like Brabus's custom supercars, which offer distinctive looks, record-breaking top speeds, unparalleled performance, and a luxurious driving sensation, Brabus Marine's boats stand out of the crowd with exceptional power and performance, racecar-like handling, and bespoke craftsmanship.
The brand's boats are tenders, but they can be used as daycruisers or weekendenders since they also offer overnight accommodation. The builder's aim is to offer owners more fun and entertainment using Brabus's car technology and automotive customization expertise.
These exceptional sports boats are aimed at a niche market, namely knowledgeable owners who are not new to the recreational watercraft world and are looking for performance, acceleration, and luxury.
The two new boats unveiled by the German brand are highly exclusive, premium offerings. And while the all-new Shadow 1000 range is the fastest Shadow ever built to date, reaching speeds of up to 60 knots (111 kph), the Brabus Shadow 1200 XC is the largest at 45 feet long and offers equally impressive performance, capable of top speeds of up to 55 knots (102 kph).
Building on the success of the award-winning Brabus Shadow 900 series, the Brabus Shadow 1000 measures 38 feet (11.6 meters) in length and is able to surprise in more ways than one. Besides its ability to reach adrenaline-pumping speeds, it offers top-tier handling and agility, premium comfort, and the latest technology available in the industry.
The superboat is equipped with two Mercury Racing 500R 4.6l V8 supercharged outboard engines. These are actual racing motors that deliver a total of 1,000 hp, enough to propel the boat to a lightning-fast speed of 60 knots. Besides offering impressive performance figures, the 500R is the first marine engine that can also monitor air humidity levels and adapt to any environment to maintain the highest level of performance.
"Never has a BRABUS Shadow been this powerful, offering even more boost, more torque, more responsive steering, and higher revs," says the company.
The speed boasts a sleek, dynamic silhouette, with its exterior boasting the exclusive Black Ops Signature Edition paint in Brabus Graphite Black with red accent elements across the entire exterior design. The main cabin offers comfortable accommodation for two people, with the possibility to extend the number of berths with the optional aft-cabin Accommodation package. There is also a front lounge, a cabinet with sink in the front lounge, a shower on the aft deck, and an integrated electric toiler under the L-shaped sofa.
When it comes to the exterior body style, the new Shadow 1000 is available in Cross-Cabin and Sun-Top configurations, each catering to different cruising needs. As for the aft deck layout, besides the aforementioned Accommodation package, customers can choose between an open aft deck, an aft bench, a multi-storage compartment, or a wet bar package.
The helm station is another standout feature of the boat. Designed to improve maneuverability, it is equipped with an advanced dashboard with fingertip controls, backlit switches, touchscreen technology, and a multifunctional intelligent steering module with integrated controls.
The second model revealed by Brabus, the Shadow 1200 XC Cross-Cabin Black Ops Signature Edition, sets new standards in the realm of luxury day-boating. Touted as a "Grand Tourer of the world's oceans," this is another nautical marvel that promises unforgettable experiences on the high seas.
Just like its smaller sibling, it stands out through its elegance, high performance, and optimized maneuverability. It is also endowed with the distinctive Black Ops Signature Edition look highlighted by the unmistakable Brabus Graphite Black paint job, complemented by Signature Style graphics and sleek hull badges in black chrome.
Equipped with triple Mercury Racing 5.7l V10 engines producing a total of 1,200 horsepower, this luxury boat promises to deliver an unprecedented Brabus experience on the water. The mind-blowing 55-knot top speed makes it a unique offering in the luxury boat segment, as this is a performance unmatched by any other boat in the 45-foot size range. Mercury's advanced marine technology, including the JPO joystick steering, Simrad navigational touchscreen displays, and autopilot features, make the handling of the boat an experience in itself.
The Shadow 1200 XC is also defined by functionality, comfort, and style. This model comes with a fully enclosable cabin, offering all-weather protection, and an impressive number of onboard social spaces where you can entertain guests. The cockpit houses a large sofa that wraps around the wet bar and has "brabusized” balcony doors that fold down to extend the social and relaxation area amidship, at the same time adding a touch of sophistication to the design. There is also a front lounge with gullwing doors, a large dining area, and the option to add a U-shaped sofa on the aft deck.
The interior is spacious enough to fit a plush bed for two people and various cabinets. Luxury is also the name of the game inside, where you can notice fine carbon fiber accents, Brabus leather elements, and the iconic Brabus Sign of Excellence.
Every element of the two new Brabus speed boats showcases the company's dedication to luxurious functionality and is meticulously hand-crafted with great attention to detail. From the sleek hull design, the signature paint scheme, and the opulent interior to the mesmerizing sporty performance and easy handling, these two new speedboats are marking a new era for luxury day boating.
Both the Brabus Shadow 1000 Black Ops Signature Edition and the Shadow 1200 XC Cross Cabin Black Ops Signature Edition are making their debut at the ongoing boot Düsseldorf boat show, which takes place from January 20 to 28.
