Brabus XLP 800 6x6 Adventure Opens the Regular Mercedes-AMG G 63 Hunting Season
Brabus has been messing around with quite a few Mercedes-AMG G 63 super trucks recently, bringing out the beast within them. However, none of those can compare to the true king of its castle, the XLP 800 6x6 Adventure.

You do remember this exact project, don't you? Why, surely you do, as it's been only a couple of months since the famous tuner presented it. That example features an all-black look, and despite the very restrained paint finish, it managed to stand out in a sea of supercars. After all, it is significantly larger than the average G-Wagen and boasts six-wheel drive, a makeover that has made it look like an apocalypse-ready vehicle.

More recently, though, we came across yet another Brabus XLP 800 6x6 Adventure, and this one is green. Likely a special commission that is enjoying its 15 minutes of online fame on the tuner's social media pages, it looks like a master hunter. Like before, this heavily upgraded Mercedes-AMG G 63 boasts a 6x6 system, is bigger, taller, and features a wide body kit, various modifications at the front and rear, a roll bar, a roof attachment, a muscular hood, a winch at the front, extra lights above the front windscreen, and many others.

All six wheels were painted green to match the color of the exterior, and black is the color that dominates the cabin in a mix of leather and suede. However, there are plenty of green touches on the inside, too, in the form of the stitching, piping, and painted carbon fiber trim, for the most part. The entire cockpit has been customized, and while some gearheads will probably say that it is a bit too much due to this hue, we believe that this look suits it greatly and makes it look truly special, though we should note that we also think that black is best when it comes to this build.
Do you know what the '800' in its name stands for? If you said the output, then you surely know your Brabus projects. This Mercedes-AMG G 63 6x6 has 800 metric horsepower, which equals 588 kilowatts and 789 brake horsepower. The thrust is rated at 738 pound-feet (1,000 Nm), and the vehicle is said to zip to 62 mph in a very decent (for such a gargantuan machine) 5.8 seconds, while tapping out at 130 mph (210 kph).

When we wrote about it a couple of months ago, we found out that the Brabus XLP 800 6x6 Adventure kicks off at €1,161,000 in Germany, excluding tax, which is $1,344,540 at the current exchange rate. Is it worth every penny? That would be a yes, assuming money is the least of your worries.
