Bridgestone: Tire Safety Campaign

With this second edition, Brigdestone wants to sensitize Mauritians on the importance of having good tires. The campaign took place on December 20 and 21 at the Shell service station, Bell-Village.

The campaign, developed by Bridgestone Middle East & Africa FZE as part of its approach to corporate social responsibility (CSR), was launched in 2011 and was held for the first time in Mauritius, through its distributor Local Port Louis Tyre and Rubber Ltd.. Bridgestone wants to encourage Mauritians to understand the key role of tires for a safe vehicle. Within minutes, the team checks the Bridgestone tires on your car. This simple check can significantly reduce the risk of accidents.
"Tire Safety is essential, it can help save lives. We encourage motorists to come in large numbers in our upcoming campaigns, "says Vincent Liu Man Hin. In addition, visitors were given materials to become better informed about tire safety and tips to improve driver safety. During these two days, the team conducted Bridgestone checking the tire pressure of cars that are made to the service station. They had the right to control their General tires. The campaign will be held regularly to increase safety awareness for all drivers.
