We've seen multiple Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 prototypes testing from various angles, but these new spy shots give us an up-close look at the two wings Chevrolet is testing.

The first wing is massive – ridiculous in a Dodge Viper ACR kind of way – while the other prototype is wearing a smaller, sleeker wing.

The larger wing sits higher than we've seen previously and looks to severely impair rearward visibility, while the smaller wing makes its first appearance on a coupe. Previous ZR1 convertible prototypes have been spotted with the smaller rear wing, but this is the first time we've seen the smaller component on a hard-top Corvette.

The pictures don't reveal any other new details about the upcoming ZR1, as both prototypes are still heavily camouflaged. Besides the wings, the close-up photos reveal a bulge in the prototype's hood, hinting at a supercharged engine just like the previous generation. The prototype with the larger rear wing also has blue brake calipers, like the ones on the C6 ZR1 nicknamed Blue Devil. The Corvette with the smaller wing has red brake calipers, which is something we've seen before as well.

With the ZR1 expected to shed some weight and gain an extra dose of power compared to the current Z06 and the previous ZR1, tacking a massive wing onto the rear end of the sports car makes sense. Plus it makes the Corvette look menacing.
