China Donates 45 Vehicles To Mauritius Police
The Mauritius Police on Friday 45 vehicles received as a gift from the Chinese government, officials said.

The vehicles including five mini-buses, five buses, 10 all terrain vehicles and 25 cars will be distributed to police stations on the Indian Ocean island next week, reported Xinhua.

The donation was made under a cooperation agreement between China and Mauritius to boost the Mauritius police force.

In June, the Chinese ambassador to Mauritius, Bian Yanhua, handed over computer materials to the Mauritius police commissioner, Dhun Iswur Rampersad.

China also supplied the CCTV cameras to the Mauritius police, who have installed them in the country's urban and tourism centres.
