At the end of the day, it's still 49 grand for a Fiero. We do, with some frequency, like to make fun of inept reproductions of rare and/or exotic cars.

And although some of that is likely to happen before the end of this article, we have to concede that some real time, effort and expense must have been put into converting this Fiero into a Diablo replica. It isn't perfect, and wouldn't hold up to much real scrutiny, but at a glance, it could probably get a pass from all but the most hardcore Diablo fans.

The engine obviously isn't a V12, but neither is it the stock Fiero plant. It is a Camaro-sourced LS1 V8 bolted to a Porsche 911 transaxle. This could probably be coaxed to produce the same kind of power as a 2000 Diablo without too much effort, relatively speaking, but it would definitely sound wrong all of the time no matter what. The car is in Eagle, Idaho, and has an asking price of $48,900, although it's safe to assume that even more money than that went into the build. It would be a steal if it was real, but for a replica... well, that's you're call.
