Mangalore-based VM Customs has served up images of the Maruti Vitara Brezza that has undergone a minor customisation, mostly around equipping new features. The bodywork has been largely left untouched.
Although the dual tone color option is only available in select colours for the top-end model (Blazing Red + Midnight Black roof, Fiery Yellow + Pearl Arctic White roof, and Cerulean Blue + Pearl Arctic White roof) the owner has gone ahead and painted the roof as well as pillars in gloss black, which contrasts well with the Premium Silver colour option.
Also new to the modified Maruti Vitara Brezza are LED foglights, custom plastic black grille without the Suzuki logo, 17-inch multispoke alloy rims, and a custom audio system. Other items available from VM Customs include carbon-fiber Akrapovic exhaust tips and 17-inch 'AD' alloy wheels with Maxxis Pro tires. VM Customs can also redo the interior with custom black leather upholstery with diamond patterns on the back-rest as seen in one of the images.
No upgrades have been made under the hood. The Vitara Brezza packs a 1.3L DDiS 200 motor and a 5-speed manual gearbox, which produces 90 PS and 200 Nm of peak torque. It is capable of averaging a fuel economy of 24.3 km/L. Also in the works are the petrol and the diesel automatic variants of the Vitara Brezza that would be introduced once demand subsides.
The Vitara Brezza continues to be the best-selling UV in India, registering monthly sales of 12,375 units last May and has helped Maruti emerge as the leading manufacturer of UVs this fiscal.
