Daihatsu Unveils Eight Concepts at Indonesia International Motor Show
Daihatsu has unveiled eight concept cars based on six different models at the Indonesia International Motor Show in Jakarta. The Japanese automaker rolled out the concepts, one of which we've seen before, as it hones in on the burgeoning Indonesian auto market.

The concepts unveiled are: the UFC 2 Concept, a compact car that can seat up to seven people; the CUV Concept, which demonstrates Daihatsu's take on the crossover utility vehicle segment and features rear seats that can be rearranged; the D-R Estate, a Kei-class convertible with a 660cc engine; three versions of the Ayla: the sport-minded GT, the go-anywhere X-Track and the Luxury; and the NC-Y Concept and the NC-Z Concept, which are similar-looking five-door hatchbacks that are supposed to exhibit "practical, intellectual" and "dynamic, cool" images, respectively, that indicate Daihatsu's direction with future products.
