Deadmau5's Cat-Wrapped 458 Italia Pissed off Ferrari
Sorry, but a 458 Italia in "Pop Tart Cat" is deadwrong5.

When you buy a car you are entitled to do whatever you want with it. Deadmau5 decided wrapping it in ugly blue with a cherry Pop Tart cat on its doors would be awesome for the Gumball 3000. Ferrari lawyers didn't think so, and it pissed them off so much they sent a cease and desist letter to the Canadian progressive-house music producer and performer. First things first, maybe Ferrari needs to chill out a bit regarding their "image," as one 458 Italia owner does not speak for them all.

On the other hand, why would you take a beautiful piece of art and turn it into a joke on wheels? And if you are going to change the exterior, why an 8-bit animation depicting a cat with the body of an industrial cherry pastry? Deadmau5 claimed the point is not to take things too seriously. We agree, it's hard to look at this car and not laugh. Or cry. It's a moot point anyway, because he's already bringing it back to stock as he prepares for life with a McLaren P1. Thank the Lord.
