Professional Japanese drifter Nobuteru Taniguchi proved that last point when he took a stock Model S around the track at an event in Tokyo. In all honesty the Model S doesn’t go crazy, but it does do a little slipping and sliding. The all-wheel drive likely hurts the Tesla's ability to get fully sideways.
Elon Musk must be pretty damn happy with himself. His Model S is a world-beater in the EV market, it can drag race with the best of them and it (kind of) drifts.
