Ducati Reveals Special Scrambler by Italia Indepedent

Based on the classically styled Scrambler, the Italia Independent edition features dark bronze accents. The tank and fenders are done up in matte black, the engine is blacked out with brushed cylinder head fins, and the exhaust with Termignoni silencer are – you guessed it – black, too. It also has lower handlebars with under-slung aluminum mirrors, special badges, and the frame, wheels, and other bits done up in Night Copper. It was unveiled with a special matching set of sunglasses too, but we'll let those interested delve into the press release for that.

Italia Independent is the fashion label started by Lapo Elkann. This isn't the first time we've seen his outfit collaborate with vehicle manufacturers – consider the Gucci edition Fiat 500 and so many projects from his Garage Italia Customs. He usually lends his talents to Fiat group products, considering that his family owns the company and all. (His brother John serves as chairman, just as their grandfather Gianni Agnelli was before him.) Ducati is currently owned by Volkswagen, and previously undertook a similar collaboration with Italian jeans label Diesel.
