The 49-year-old spent one year and $10,000 building one of the best looking boat cars around. Ray decided to undertake the project while caring for his wife as she battled cancer. She dared him to build a boat car, and the rest is history. Ray’s boat car is a combination of a GMC Jimmy SUV and a sunken Sea Ray Bow Rider speedboat, with the former's 4.3-liter V6 providing the oomph.
