It sounds cool and looks cool, but the Fiat 500 Cattiva is named after the Italian word for bad or naughty. First seen in concept form at Detroit 2013, the special edition package is pure styling in nature based on the 500 Sport and Turbo models. Available in red, copper, black, silver, granite crystal, white and light blue, the Cattiva comes with blacked-out lights, 16-inch Hyper Nero alloys, gloss black roof, and performance spoiler.
A black interior comes with silver-stiched black/grey cloth sport seats, available leather trim, a matt black instrument panel with an additional “Sport” mode, and black leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. In 500 Sport trim the Cattiva comes with a 101 hp 1.4-liter MultiAir unit and available six-speed auto, while the same engine is turbocharged to 135 hp in Turbo trim along with a five-speed manual and upgraded brakes. Pricing starts from $18,350 for the Cattiva 500 Sport and $2,000 more for the 500 Turbo and will be available at the end of the year. The car will debut at the Concorso Italiano in Monterey, California, this Friday.
