Gang of Car Thieves Steal Range Rovers Intended for Next James Bond Film
All had been modified with easy-shatter windshields and collapsible front suspensions.

The 24th James Bond film, "Spectre," begins principal photography today, and that gorgeous DB10 will be 007’s new ride. It turns out the Range Rover Sport will also be featured in the film, but there’s been sort of a snag. It’s been stolen. Five of them, to be exact. According to reports, five Range Rover Sports, all of which were being prepped for filming, were stolen from a Land Rover facility in Neuss, Germany, late last month. They had all been modified and were waiting to be transported to the Alps for location shoots.

An additional four other vehicles - including a Range Rove Evoque, were also taken from the same facility. The total value for everything stolen is roughly $985,000. However, the thieves likely weren’t aware the Range Rovers were to be used in the movie. Each one was equipped with easy-shatter front windshields and collapsible front suspensions. Good luck trying to sell them now, even on the black market.
