Harley-Davidson's entry-level, urban oriented Street XG cruiser is being recalled for a fuel pump issue. T

he National Highway Traffic Safety Administration bulletin says that 10,580 total units of the Street 500 and Street 750 built from the beginning of 2014 to June 24, 2015 suffer from poor sealing at the pump inlet.

The flaw can briefly interrupt the fuel supply, leading to a short loss of power followed by "abrupt restoration of power," which is one of the last things you want on a motorcycle.
