Indonesian modification house, Anugerah Modif Jogja has transformed the Honda CB150R StreetFire into the Honda CBR250RR Kabuki Edition.

The Kabuki Edition of the CBR250RR was launched in Indonesia at the 2017 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS). The cosmetic changes in this replica include full fairing, which costs IDR 3.5 million. It includes LED headlamps, brackets and holders for the instrument cluster. The digital instrument and the switchgear are stock, but the handlebar is a clip-on unit. The custom tank cover costs IDR 400,000. The rear bodywork costs IDR 1.7 million, and it comes with LED tail light and indicators, tail panels, pillion seat cowl, battery holder and lock holder.

The entire bodywork gets sticker job akin to the Kabuki edition. For the uninitiated, the 'Art of Kabuki' depicts the ancient, traditional culture of 'Kabukimono', an era of the Samurai warriors. The engine is stock and so is the exhaust. The bike employs a 149.16cc single cylinder DOHC engine with liquid cooling and fuel injection. It makes 16.9 PS at 9,000 rpm and 13.8 Nm at 7,000 rpm, and pairs with a 6-speed transmission.

Suspension components include telescopic front fork and a Pro-Link rear monoshock. Brakes include disc on both ends but without ABS. Last month, the Honda CB 150R StreetFire gained new colours. The price of the stock bike starts from IDR 25,975,000 for the standard variant, On The Road (OTR), Jakarta.
